With an abundance of variety and choice, accommodation comes at highly competitive rates. More than 2,500 bedrooms are within close proximity to Aberdeen Airport and TECA. Delegates will feel at ease within a safe, welcoming urban environment.
High-end accommodation can provide an unforgettable experience in castles, country houses and boutique urban hotels. While, for delegates on a restricted budget, there is a wealth of affordable guest houses and quality budget hotels – all offering excellent facilities and warm, local hospitality.
We received some excellent support from the Aberdeen Ambassador Network, particularly with reference to discounted rates at local hotels and with transport providers. We also made good use of images from their photo library for our programme and marketing materials. We also noted that delegates were more ready to commit to attending the conference for the full three days. In our field, conferences closer to London tend to have people ‘dropping in’ rather than committing to full attendance. There were also several delegates who had clearly made the whole experience into a holiday for their family or extended their visit to Aberdeen by a number of days to experience the whole region.
